Technical Skill Requirements:

1-3 years experience in manufacturing 2.
Strong mechanical aptitude preferred 3.
Previous experience in Extrusion or Injection molding processing preferred 4.
Strong troubleshooting skills 5.
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical thinking 6.

Able to gather data and analyze to make process adjustments to injection molding processes and repair/analyze tooling or equipment as needed.

Provide technical support to Production Department a.
Troubleshooting of equipment, tooling, materials and processing issues b.
Continuous improvement for Production processes and quality c.
Gather data and analyze d.
Assure safety procedures followed e.
Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow f.
Working with production personnel ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as required Other Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Other projects and duties, as assigned Job Complexity Work requires a high level of judgment, analytic ability and creativity, such as investigating moderately complex problems or situation, analyzing information and recommending solutions Supervision Received Receives general direction; supervisor established only very broad goals.

Frequency of Independent Judgment Exercised Regularly Position's Type of Job Tasks Performs complex tasks requiring extensive knowledge of department's work Environment and Conditions Working Conditions This position occupies a typical production floor environment.
Exposure to weather elements is not likely.
Incumbents are likely to drive a forklift while performing job responsibilities.
Incumbents spend approximately 10% sitting, 45% standing and 45% walking in the course of this position and are unlikely to lift anything greater than 100 pounds.
Incumbents will use the following office machines while performing job duties:
computer, printer, copier, fax, telephone, digital camera, scale, calculator, AutoCAD, hand tools, grinders, milling machine, lathe, sanders, welders and the equipment on the plant floor.
Also uses Microsoft office, equipment manuals, shop handbooks and engineering handbooks.
